Rock Shox gives Reverb a new lever
The Rock Shox Reverb is one of the most popular telescopic seatposts on the market. Now Rock Shox is adding a special lever for riders with single drives.

The Rock Shox Reverb is one of the most frequently installed dropper seatposts on mountain bikes and has been available for several years with various updates. The special feature of the Reverb is the hydraulic linkage of the system. A feature that cannot be found on any other dropper post.

Up to now, all Reverb versions had the same hydraulic remote lever, which was available for left and right. With the new 1x Remote, Rock Shox is specifically targeting riders with single drivetrains. The handlebar remote, which is also hydraulic, sits under the handlebars and is mounted in place of a front derailleur shifter. The extension speed of the dropper post can still be adjusted via a speed-adjust setting.

The lever is Matchmaker-compatible and should weigh 21 grams more than the previous lever. The conversion kit should be available from May 2017 and cost 105 euros. At 449 euros, the complete Reverb Stealth with the new lever is even 70 euros cheaper than the previous model.
