It is considered the most potent air shock in the Fox portfolio. Even high-flyer Aaron Gwin relied on the new product without steel springs in many a Downhill World Cup.

The special feature of the Float X2 is the multi-adjustable damping, which is based on a twin-tube system as with Cane Creek. This allows the large oil volume and oil flow to be controlled very well. In addition to the air pressure, the high-speed and low-speed compression and rebound stages can be adjusted separately. However, there is no quick-acting platform. Compared to a conventional Float damper, the voluminous X2 weighs around 180 grams more. At the Enduro race in Leogang, we were able to put the miracle shock to the test on rugged bike park trails. It reacts sensitively, digests even big hits in a controlled manner and remains stable in its travel.

CONCLUSION Versatile adjustable air shock for downhill bikes.

PLUS Very controlled and sensitive damping performance
MINUS Expensive, does not fit in all frames due to the large housing

Weight 502 g
Price 749 Euro
