Pimp my bike - no problem visually with the red anodised "Roco". Technically, there are weaknesses in the details. The small aluminium knob only has a noticeable effect on the rebound damping at the last turn. There is hardly any room for fine-tuning between too fast and too slow. The other parameters - compression and progression - can be sensitively tuned. The response behaviour is perfect, as is typical for steel springs, even a little better than the platform dampers of the competition. If you don't need bob suppression, the "Roco RC" is a problem-free and noiseless damper.
Conclusion: Stable freeride shock with a classy look. The spring assembly is complex. Awkward adjustment knobs.
