Cornelius Kapfinger and his team at Intend, which has grown to eight men, have once again been busy inventing desirable features. The highlight and the crowning glory of unreasonableness is the Onepiece upside-down fork, which will cost 3299 euros and could already be marvelled at at the Bike Festival in Rival.
As the name suggests, the crown and stanchions have been milled from a single piece (aluminium block), driving up the price. The part can be adjusted externally from 140 to 170 millimetres and is said to weigh 2310 grams. If the exorbitant price doesn't shock you and you think you can't live without this suspension fork, you can place a pre-order on the Intend website from 1 to 15 June 2025.
Intend expects a delivery time of three to six months, depending on the volume of demand. However, Intend boss Cornelius Kapfinger would advise against buying the fork even for purely rational reasons.
This is what Cornelius Kapfinger himself says about his new product:

The unique one-piece upside-down suspension fork is so unusual that Intend commissioned the illustrator Grauzonenbiker to create an amusing comic strip about it.
There are also two new variants of the Hover damper, which also rely on a one-piece housing and are labelled monocoque. The light version is said to weigh just 285 grams. Thanks to the platform lever, a trail and road mode is also available.
Handling has also been optimised. Pressure equalisation in the damper is now automatic. Also clever: thanks to the IBS interface, the shocks can be converted from trunnion to standard mountings. The price is 1199 euros.
