How to do everything right with the MTB telescopic support
Retractable seat posts make every descent easier. However, they have a bad reputation when it comes to vulnerability. These five tips for correct handling prevent defects.

This way you can treat your telescopic seatpost correctly and enjoy it for a long time:

1. clamp the seatpost: If you tighten the seatpost clamp too tightly, you may taper the inner tube diameter slightly, thereby preventing it from functioning optimally. The seatpost often gets stuck at a certain height when it is extended. With a tightening torque of approx. 6 Nm, every seat post should be tight without impairing its function.
