CONCLUSION Compared to last year, the new 34 comes with more compression damping support and therefore has better suspension travel even in open Descend mode, which suits sporty riders. Due to the firmer basic setup, however, it loses a little sensitivity. At well over two kilos, it is the heaviest and longest (installation length) fork in the test.
