Endurance test: Marzocchi 44 Micro Switch TA fork
The Marzocchi 44 Micro Switch TA fork is a sensitive suspension fork for 29-inch bikes. The Italian fork with its 140 millimetre stroke showed its downhill potential in the test.

At just under two kilos, the 44 is not one of the lightweights. However, the creamy response behaviour was convincing from the very first ride. The extensive and practical adjustment options and easy-to-use levers were particularly pleasing. In addition to air pressure and rebound, the compression damping can also be adjusted. The gold lever is used to select the basic hard or soft setting and the grey lever can then be used to change the compression damping while riding. Lowering by 30 millimetres is also possible. Only available as a 29er version in 2014.
