Already tested: Magura novelties 2008
Magura's trump card for 2008 is the "Durin" XC fork. The "Louise" brake, which was only presented in 2007, is getting a facelift.

With the white "Durin", Magura is sending a new racehorse to the starting line. The cross-country fork is designed to be particularly light and stiff. The Swabians want to achieve high rigidity through the double brake bridge, and the 32 millimetre thick stanchions should also play their part. The fork should weigh less than 1500 grams on the scales - regardless of whether it is the version with 80 or 100 millimetres of travel. Nevertheless, Magura places no restrictions on the disc size. Even "pizza discs" with a diameter of 210 millimetres are permitted. Magura's "Dynamic Lockout" is of course on board. It is switched on by remote control.
