The Avinox M2S has arrived with a bang. 150 Newton metres, 1500 watts with compact dimensions and low weight - that's a new level. All information and our test of the Avinox M2S can be found here in the link. With the new e-bike motor from China comes a whole raft of new e-MTBs. This flood gives an idea: The Avinox motor will revolutionise the market. Pleasingly, in addition to hot high-end bikes, there are also affordable bikes. You can find the pictures and facts about all the bikes in our picture gallery.

YT Decoy X Launch Edition

The German direct mail order company YT Industries wants to get back on the road to success - and is relying on the power of the Avinox M2S. The Decoy X (test here) with aluminium frame is designed to deliver uncompromising trail performance at a fair price. At the start of sales, there is only one equipment variant that goes all out with Fox Podium and high-end equipment. Price-conscious bikers will probably still find the 8499 euros too much. Cheaper models are to follow.

Forbidden Dreadnought E

The new E-Enduro from Forbidden is consistently designed for demanding, tough terrain. The rear suspension has 170 mm of travel, combined with a 180 mm fork at the front. The Trifecta V3 kinematics are based on a high-pivot layout in a four-link design and are aimed at high running smoothness as well as improved chain and chassis performance in rough terrain.

The shock is positioned vertically in the frame. This design creates additional space in the seat tube area and allows long dropper posts to be fitted. Even in frame size S1, a 180 mm dropper post can be fitted, which noticeably increases freedom of movement on steep descents and technical passages.

Two battery options are available for the power supply. With the 600 Wh battery, the weight is 23.43 kg. The 800 Wh variant increases the range, but weighs 24.30 kg. Forbidden is positioning the 600 Wh battery as an option for more agile handling, while the 800 Wh battery is aimed at longer tours and more reserves in terms of range. The price of the T4 model with 600 Wh battery starts at 7699 euros.

  • Suspension travel: 180/170 mm
  • Wheel size: 29/27.5 inch
  • Motor: Avinox M2S
  • Battery: 800 or 600 Wh, permanently installed

Mondraker Zendit

The Mondraker Zendit has the potential to join the ranks of the Avinox bikes as a particularly powerful E-Enduro. As usual, the 800 series battery is permanently installed in the down tube, while the tried-and-tested rear suspension and geometry promise a lot in terms of stability and handling qualities. The entry-level price of 8499 euros is unfortunately high.

  • Suspension travel: 170/165 mm
  • Wheel size: 29/27.5 inch
  • Motor: Avinox M2S
  • Battery: 800 Wh, permanently installed
  • Frame material: Carbon

Raymon Tarok

Raymon installs the new, super-slim 700-series battery from Avinox firmly in the down tube and thus teases out everything in terms of slimness and weight. In addition, the full 1500 W of the M2S is at the start. The top model is said to be light at 20.4 kilos. It starts at a pleasing 4999 euros with the more favourable M2 motor.

Red Deer R.EXC

Its little brother, the R.EX, was the first Avinox bike with a removable battery. The R.EXC is the enduro version with more suspension travel. The bike also comes with quick-release for fast battery changes. Its own 864 Wh battery provides more range, but is not quick-charge capable. There are also 45 setup positions to customise the bike's geometry and suspension travel to personal preferences.

  • Suspension travel: 170/160 mm
  • Wheel size: 29/27.5 inch
  • Motor: Avinox M2S

The down tube has been made even slimmer with the 700 mm battery and the 1500 W motor is even more powerful. The geometry has been significantly modernised and can be adjusted in many variables. The weight has increased slightly.

  • Suspension travel: 160/150 mm
  • Wheel size: 29/27.5 inch
  • Motor: Avinox M2S

Atherton p.170E

Atherton Bikes presents its first e-mountainbike and confirms the technical basis: The Avinox M2S and a new, particularly slim 700 Wh battery are used. This allows the down tube to be correspondingly slim.

Designed as an E-Enduro with 180/170 millimetres of suspension travel, the model is based on the proven DW4 platform. The focus is clearly on a natural ride feel, precise handling and balanced performance in demanding terrain.

A key differentiating feature is the sizing strategy: the bike is available in a total of twelve different frame sizes, thus sending a clear signal in the direction of custom-fit ergonomics and optimised suspension tuning for different body sizes.

All variants will be equipped with the powerful motor and the new 700 Wh battery. Pre-orders are now possible and delivery is scheduled for April/May 2026. In the first sales phase, 50 bikes will initially be available exclusively for customers in the UK and the EU.

  • Suspension travel: 180/170 mm
  • Wheel size: 29/27.5 inch
  • Motor: Avinox M2S
  • Battery: 700 Wh, permanently installed
  • Frame material: Aluminium
  • Price: from 6650 euros

Maxx Fab.4 ELA

The Maxx FAB.4 ELA is one of the few Avinox models with a removable battery system (either 600 or 800 Wh), which enables flexible charging and battery changes. With 160 mm rear suspension travel and up to 170 mm at the front as well as 29" wheels, it is designed for demanding tours and technical trails. The absolutely unique selling point: Maxx offers individual wet painting in any desired colour (50 standard colours or your own colour codes) as well as freely configurable components in the online configurator - making every bike unique. Available in five frame sizes (S-XXL) for heights from 1.60 to 2.08 metres, the price starts at 6699 euros.

  • Suspension travel: 160 mm rear / up to 170 mm front
  • Wheel size: 29 inch
  • Motor: Avinox M2S
  • Battery: 600 or 800 Wh, removable
  • Frame material: Carbon

Thömus Oberrider

This bike is modular: With the Oberrider, the Swiss brand Thömus presents two different E-MTB models based on the same frame platform. The Oberrider SL ("Superlight") is designed as a lightweight trail and all-mountain bike and offers 150/140 mm suspension travel. The Oberrider ST ("Supertrail") is consistently aimed at riders focussing on maximum downhill performance and has 170 mm of suspension travel.

A key technical feature of both versions is the high-pivot rear triangle with a highly positioned pivot point, which is designed for sensitive response behaviour and smooth running, especially on rough terrain. The frame is made of carbon and the battery is permanently integrated. There is a choice of battery capacities of 600 or 800 Wh.

  • Suspension travel: 150/140 mm or 170 mm
  • Wheel size: either 29 or 27.5 inches
  • Motor: Avinox M2S
  • Battery: 600 or 800 Wh, permanently installed
  • Frame material: Carbon
  • Price: from 5490 CHF

Teewing Flux One

The Teewing Flux One is a high-pivot E-Enduro from China. The technical centrepiece is a high-pivot chassis with chain deflection, in which the high main pivot point ensures a rearward wheel lift curve and the chain deflection eliminates the typical pedal kickback. With 180 mm travel at the front and a choice of 170 or 178 mm at the rear, the bike is at downhill level. A special feature is the customisability thanks to an ingenious flip-chip system: the steering and seat angle as well as the bottom bracket height can be adjusted, as can the rear suspension travel, and the Flux One can also be ridden as a pure 29er or in an agile mullet setup (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear) with adjustable chainstay length. This positions the Flux One as a very potent and versatile bike in the full-power E-Enduro segment for the toughest applications from alpine trails to the bike park.

  • Suspension travel: 180 mm front / 170 or 178 mm rear
  • Wheel size: 29 inch or Mullet
  • Motor: Avinox M2S
  • Battery: 800 Wh, permanently installed
  • Frame material: Carbon
  • Price: from 6899 Euro
