From 18 to 19 June, not only will the Malevil Cup take place in the historic towns of Jablonné v Podještědí and Oybin, but the European Marathon Championships will also be held there. The starting line-up includes a European champion, a world champion, an Olympic champion and a marathon legend.

23rd Malevil Cup

The Malevil Cup will be held for the 23rd time in the mountains of Lusatia and the Zittau Mountains, close to the German border. On Friday the 17 June the race weekend in Jablonné v Podještědí will open and the following day the amateur bikers of all age groups and the pairs race will take to the track. Here you can choose between 100, 70, 50 and 30 Kilometres can be selected.

The European Marathon Championships on Sunday

After ten years, the European Championships are returning to the mountains of Lusatia. Sunday belongs entirely to the elite and masters women and men, who will compete for the European title. The men in the elite class have 100 kilometres and 2250 Altitude metres to conquer. Forest paths, steep climbs, rocky and rooty descents, but also natural single trails shape the character of the route. The women have 90 kilometres ahead of them and almost 2000 metres of altitude to conquer. The Masters class can expect a route of around 70 kilometres and around 1500 metres of altitude.

High-calibre drivers and riders

Alongside the reigning European champion Natalia Fischer (SPA)also becomes European and world champion Andreas Seewald (GER) in the Czech Republic. Olympic champion Jaroslav Kulhavy (CZE) will be fighting for a medal in his last professional season, and last but not least, the marathon legend and five-time winner of the famous Cape Epic stage race also wants to win a medal, Karl Platt (GER)have a say in the medals.
