YOU NEED THAT for loosening tight connections. Penetrating oil, standard tools - and some skill!
The most important thing to do to loosen tight connections is to treat them with penetrating oil beforehand. It loosens rust spots and flushes out the dirt between two components. Often used: Brunox "Turbo Spray" with cannula for inaccessible areas. Use the chain riveter to loosen stiff chain links. Use a quick release and washer to prevent the bottom bracket tool from slipping off a bottom bracket with a hollow axle. A nail and spike help to remove stuck stones or dirt. Often necessary, especially with cleat bolts! Allen keys with a T-handle apply a lot of torque to stuck bolts. But: use with care! Do not overtighten bolts! Bottom bracket tools should be as stable as possible. The larger the screw connection and the higher the tightening torque (bottom bracket: 35-50 Nm), the longer the lever with which you want to loosen the bearing shells must be.
