The headset is a wearing part. However, you do not have to replace the entire headset immediately in the event of a defect: Castle offers the option of replacing bearings or other components individually.

Professional mechanics know the problem: Frequent rides in dirty weather and the subsequent steam blasting ruin the bearings on the bike in particular. After a long winter, it often doesn't even help Regreasing the headsetit is simply worn out. Even if it is often only the lower headset bearing that is defective, many people replace the entire headset. With Castle you can now buy the special industrial bearings for headsets separately for 15 to 28 euros and do not have to replace the entire headset. In the "Tacklebox" for MTB shops, there are also other components for retrofitting - such as the fork cone, claws or the cover cap. The bearings are also compatible with headsets from other manufacturers.
