The start of the e-mountainbike season in South Tyrol: you can ring in the summer with us from the editorial team at the Simplon EMTB camp on picturesque Lake Kaltern. Four days of trail fun with high-end test bikes and Italian dolce vita are on the programme. Dates: 7 - 10 April 2025 - register now!

Mediterranean climate down by the lake and high alpine mountain worlds just an e-MTB tour away: Lake Kaltern is a paradise for e-mountain bikers. At our e-MTB trail camp, we can therefore serve up the finest flowing curves on atmospheric trails in the Montiggl forest and stunning panoramas on long tours in the nearby high mountains.

Those who wish can with the guiding professionals around Holger Meyer and Karen Eller from the lawnmowers improve your riding technique or talk shop with us from the editorial team about the latest e-MTB trends. And of course there's no shortage of Italian dolce vita: we round off the tours with a joint wine tasting, a pasta evening and a final barbecue on the lakeshore.

Strong programme with test bikes from Simplon

We start on Monday lunchtime with a welcome and a subsequent set-up check with the professional guides. In the afternoon, we then start our relaxed roll-in together. We ride in small groups with a maximum of eight participants. The difficulty of the tours is customised for each group. Thanks to years of experience and extensive scouting before the event, our guides will present you with routes specially adapted to the E-MTB. So you can look forward to fun uphill trails and the best secret descents in the region.

By the way: In addition to your own bikes, you can also try out exciting test bikes from our partners. Last year, for example Test bikes from Simplon with Pinion's revolutionary MGU geared motor at the start (here in the reader test). In 2025, we will once again be competing with Simplon: from the powerful Rapcon Pinion to the minimalist Light E-Bike with TQ, there is something for everyone!

The e-MTB tours are then on the programme from 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Trail fun or panorama, short or long tour, each group decides for itself. In the evening, however, everyone comes together again. Because we review the day together at the end of the day or at the final BBQ by the lake. And of course there is also time for a refreshment or two, talking shop with like-minded people or simply stretching your legs. On Thursday we use the day for a crisp half-day tour before rolling out relaxed at lunchtime.

Registration is now open, places are limited. So secure your place now for the EMTB trail camp from 7 - 10 April 2025!

Adrian Kaether's favourite thing to do is ride mountain bikes on bumpy enduro trails. The tech expert and bike tester knows all about Newton metres and watt hours, high and low-speed damping. As test manager at MYBIKE, Adrian also likes to think outside the box and tests cargo bikes and step-through bikes as well as the latest (e-)MTBs.
