This year's organiser is the mountain biker, adventure athlete, world traveller and Bicycle podcaster Tobias Woggon. He has already explored the region several times on a gravel bike and learnt to love it in the process. Now he wants to show gravel fans from all over Germany the Ore Mountains region.
The Gravel Camp Erzgebirge is not only suitable for experienced gravel bikers. Beginners and cycling fans with less fitness will also get their money's worth, as there are a wide variety of tours on offer. There are also test bikes for the curious who want to give gravel biking a try.
A weekend ticket for 199 euros includes two nights' accommodation at the Galgenteich campsite in Altenberg, outdoor cooking in the camp and on the routes, participation in the points of the supporting programme and a starter pack. Globetrotter Club members can save 20 %. A day ticket for Saturday costs 69 euros and one for Sunday 39 euros, so you can enjoy the Gravel Camp Erzgebirge for very little money.
