For young and old
More trails for families, training courses and pump tracks, guides specially trained for young riders. In Graubünden, the focus is on families.

Is biking only for adults? Quite the opposite. Even the little ones can have fun on two wheels, as long as the offers are suitable for them. The Graubünden holiday region of Arosa/Lenzerheide firmly believes in this and is therefore investing in new infrastructure to enable families to enjoy biking experiences together.

Family-friendly biking: Arosa invests in trails and infrastructure

On training courses and pump tracks, you can learn the basics on your own or with riding technique trainers specially trained for kids. From safe riding to cornering technique and body position. Then it's off to the trails specially designed for families, such as the newly built Hörnli flow trail. The fantastic panorama and a high adventure factor are on top of it all.

The holiday regions are inaugurating their new trails and skill centres with a big family event: at the Family Bike Vibes from 13 to 15 August, there will be tours and riding technique training for parents and kids, scavenger hunts and an expo with numerous exhibitors where bikes and specially family-oriented equipment can be tested.

Detailed information on the Website of Arosa/Lenzerheide. The price is 150 francs per family and weekend. Individual days can also be booked.

Adrian Kaether's favourite thing to do is ride mountain bikes on bumpy enduro trails. The tech expert and bike tester knows all about Newton metres and watt hours, high and low-speed damping. As test manager at MYBIKE, Adrian also likes to think outside the box and tests cargo bikes and step-through bikes as well as the latest (e-)MTBs.
