Trek Wahoo 24 Trail

The "Wahoo 24 Trail" model from the "Trek" brand, released in 2024, is a high-quality children’s bike available at a price of 749 EUR. It features a robust frame made from Alpha Silver aluminium and has 24-inch wheels. The maximum load capacity is 80 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg.

The Wahoo 24 Trail’s braking system consists of Tektro HD-J285 hydraulic disc brakes, fitted to both the front and rear. These brakes are fitted with levers featuring a reduced grip width and utilise 160 mm brake discs in a 6-hole design.

The bike features a microSHIFT Advent Quick Trigger Pro SL-M6295 shifter with a 9-speed drivetrain. The cassette is a microSHIFT Advent H093 with a range of 11–42 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC X9 chain.

The Wahoo 24 Trail’s fork is made of carbon and is designed for post-mount disc brakes. It features a 5 mm ThruSkew quick-release axle. The handlebars are Bontrager aluminium handlebars with a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm, a rise of 20 mm and a width of 600 mm. The grips are specially designed for children and are 110 mm wide.

The stem is also made of aluminium, has a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm, an angle of 6 degrees and a length of 45 mm. The headset is fitted with integrated, sealed cartridge bearings. The saddle is padded and features an integrated seatpost as well as a Blendr light mount. The saddle is secured using a bolt-on clamp with a diameter of 36.4 mm.

Trek Custom mudguards are fitted to protect against dirt and splash water. The bike is supplied in packaging measuring 25 mm wide, 69 mm high and 130 mm long.
