Trek Supercaliber 9.9 XTR

The “Supercaliber 9.9 XTR” model from Trek, released in 2020, is a highly sophisticated mountain bike characterised by its advanced technical specifications and high-quality components. The price for this model is 9,499 EUR.

The frame of the Supercaliber 9.9 XTR is made from OCLV Mountain Carbon for the main frame and seat stays. It features innovative IsoStrut technology, a tapered head tube, the Knock Block system and internal Control Freak cable routing. The frame offers 60 mm of travel and is designed for Boost148. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 9 kg.

Shimano XTR M9100 hydraulic disc brakes are fitted, with Shimano MT900 160 mm Centre Lock brake discs at both the front and rear. The drivetrain is provided by the Shimano Dura-Ace/XTR M9100 12-speed system. The shift levers are also Shimano XTR M9100, 12-speed.

The cassette is a Shimano XTR M9100 with a 10–51 tooth range for 12 speeds. The handlebars are Bontrager Kovee XXX made from OCLV carbon, with a width of 720 mm and a diameter of 35 mm. The grips are ESI Chunky. The stem is a Bontrager Kovee Pro with Knock Block and Blendr compatibility; it has a 13-degree angle and a length of 90 mm.

The headset is a super-lightweight sealed compact bearing headset with Knock Block, 1 1/8" at the top and 1.5" at the bottom. The tyres are Bontrager XR1 Team Issue, Tubeless Ready with Inner Strength sidewall protection and an aramid bead core, in size 29 x 2.20. The wheelset consists of Bontrager Kovee XXX 30, OCLV Mountain Carbon, also Tubeless Ready with Centre Lock disc mounts and Boost110 at the front and Boost148 at the rear.

The saddle is a Bontrager Montrose Pro with carbon rails (7 x 10 mm) and a width of 138 mm. The seatpost is a Bontrager XXX made from OCLV Carbon, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, an offset of 0 mm and a length of 400 mm.
