Trek Supercaliber 9.6

The “Supercaliber 9.6” model from Trek, released in 2022, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for discerning riders. The price of this model is 4,099 EUR. The frame is made from OCLV Mountain Carbon and features an IsoStrut shock with 60 mm of travel. The tapered head tube and Knock Block provide additional stability and control, whilst the internal Control Freak cable routing offers a clean look and protection from the elements. The maximum rider weight is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 12 kg.

The braking system consists of front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with Shimano MT4100 brake levers and MT410 brake calipers. The brake discs have a 6-hole mounting and are available in 180 mm and 160 mm sizes. The gear lever is a Shimano Deore M6100 with 12 speeds, enabling precise and reliable gear changes.

The fork is a RockShox Recon Gold RL with DebonAir suspension and Motion Control damping, featuring a remote lockout. It has a tapered steerer tube, a 42 mm offset, Boost110 and a 15 mm Maxle Stealth axle with 100 mm of travel. The crankset is a Shimano MT511 with a steel chainring (32 teeth) and a chainline of 52 mm. The PressFit bottom bracket is a Shimano MT500 with a 92 mm stroke.

The cassette is a Shimano Deore M6100 with a 10–51-tooth range and is also a 12-speed set. The drivetrain is also comprised of Shimano Deore M6100 components. The handlebars are aluminium Bontrager Comp with a diameter of 31.8 mm, a rise of 5 mm and a width of 720 mm. The grips are Bontrager XR Trail Comp with nylon clamps.

The stem is a Bontrager Rhythm Comp with Knock Block, with a diameter of 31.8 mm, an angle of 0 degrees and a length of 70 mm. The tyres are Bontrager XR2 Team Issue in size 29 x 2.20. The wheelset consists of Bontrager Kovee Comp 23 wheels with Rapid Drive 108.

The saddle is a Bontrager Arvada with steel rails and a width of 138 mm. The seatpost is a Bontrager Comp made from 6061 aluminium, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, an offset of 8 mm and a length of 400 mm. The saddle is clamped using a bolt-on clamp with a diameter of 36.4 mm.

The packaging dimensions are 23 mm in width, 119 mm in height and 201 mm in length.
