Trek FX Sport 6

The 2024 "FX Sport 6" model from Trek is a high-quality bike that stands out for its advanced technology and top-of-the-range specifications. The frame is made from 400 Series OCLV Carbon and features internal cable routing, a 3S chain guide and DuoTrap S compatibility. The frame is also fitted with mudguard eyelets and a flat-mount disc brake mount, and utilises the ThruSkew system with a 135 x 5 mm spacing. The maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 9 kg.

The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, fitted to both the front and rear, consist of MT201 brake levers and UR300 calipers, complemented by Shimano RT10 brake discs with a Centre Lock mount and a diameter of 160 mm. The shifter is a Shimano RS700, which enables 11-speed shifting.

The fork is also made of carbon and features concealed mudguard eyelets as well as a flat-mount disc brake mount. The axle measures 5 x 100 mm and is fitted with the ThruSkew system. The bike is fitted with VPE-993T pedals and a Shimano GRX RX600 crankset with 40 teeth and a crank arm length of 175 mm. The cassette is a Shimano SLX M7000 with an 11-42 range across 11 speeds.

Power is transmitted via a Shimano 105 HG601 chain, also in the 11-speed version. The handlebars are aluminium Bontrager Satellite Plus IsoZone with a diameter of 31.8 mm, a rise of 15 mm and a length of 660 mm. The ergonomic grips are also Bontrager Satellite Plus IsoZone and feature a screw-on clamp.

The stem is a Bontrager Elite with a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm, Blendr compatibility, a 7-degree angle and a length of 110 mm. The tyres are Bontrager GR1 Team Issue in size 700 x 40, whilst the wheelset consists of Aeolus Elite 35 OCLV Carbon rims and is tubeless-ready.

The saddle is a Bontrager Montrose Comp with steel rails and a width of 138 mm. The seatpost is a Bontrager Comp made from 6061 aluminium, with a diameter of 27.2 mm, an offset of 8 mm and a length of 330 mm.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 40 mm, a stack of 62 mm, a seat tube length of 51 mm, a top tube length of 58 mm, a head tube angle of 72 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees. The head tube is 19 mm long, the chainstay length is 44 mm, the standover height is 81 mm and the wheelbase is 108 mm in total.
