Trek FX 3 Disc

The Trek FX 3 Disc from 2023 is a versatile and reliable bike that is suitable for both daily commuting and longer leisure rides. The frame is made from Alpha Gold aluminium and features internal cable routing, a flat mount disc brake mount and eyelets for pannier racks and mudguards. With a weight of 11 kg and a permissible total weight of 136 kg, the FX 3 Disc is robust yet lightweight.

The bike is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano, which work with MT201 brake levers and UR300 brake callipers at the front and rear. The Shimano RT26 brake discs have a 6-hole disc mount and a diameter of 160 mm, which ensures reliable braking performance.

Shifting on the FX 3 Disc is controlled by the Shimano Deore M4100 gear lever, which offers a 10-speed gear ratio. The fork is made of carbon and is also equipped with eyelets for pannier racks and mudguards as well as a flat mount disc brake mount. The Prowheel crankset is made of aluminium and has a narrow-width chainring with 40 teeth and a crank arm length of 175 mm. The Shimano Deore M4100 sprocket offers a gradation of 11-46 teeth.

The bike is equipped with Bontrager City pedals, Bontrager Satellite Plus IsoZone handlebars and ergonomic grips. The stem is the Bontrager Comp with a length of 100 mm and an angle of 7 degrees. The headset is made of steel and is threadless. The tyres are Bontrager H2 Comp with the dimensions 700 x 32, which are mounted on Bontrager tubeless ready rims. The Formula aluminium hubs provide a stable wheel base.

The saddle is a Bontrager H1, mounted on a Bontrager aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 330 mm. The geometry of the bike offers a seat tube length of 57 mm, a top tube length of 59 mm, a head tube angle of 72 degrees, a seat tube angle of 73 degrees, a head tube length of 19 mm, chainstay lengths of 45 mm, a standover height of 85 mm and a wheelbase of 107 mm.
