Trek Fetch+ 2

The "Fetch+ 2" model from Trek, released in 2024, is a state-of-the-art e-bike priced at 4,999 EUR. It features a high-performance aluminium frame with hydroformed tubes and a low-step design, which makes getting on and off the bike easier. The frame is fitted with a removable integrated battery and features internal cable routing as well as a Motor Armour for additional protection. The post-mount disc brake mounts and the 148 x 12 mm thru-axle round off the robust frame design. The maximum permissible weight is 200 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 31 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-T737 hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes on the front and rear axles, each fitted with a 180 mm Tektro Wave brake disc. Gear changes are facilitated by the Shimano Deore M4100 10-speed shifter. Safe riding in the dark is ensured by the Spanninga SOLO front light, which is fitted with LED technology and offers a brightness of 180 lumens or 60 lux.

The Fetch+ 2 is fitted with Bontrager City pedals and an aluminium ProWheel crankset with a crank arm length of 165 mm. Power is transmitted via a KMC E10 chain. The Electra Vale Go handlebars and Bontrager Satellite Elite grips ensure comfortable handling, whilst the adjustable aluminium stem, measuring 90 mm in length and 31.8 mm in diameter, allows for individual adjustments.

The tyres are Schwalbe Pick-Up models with Addix E-Compound, which comply with ECE-R75 standards and measure 20x2.35". The wheelset consists of hollow-section aluminium rims with 32 holes. The front hub is a Formula DC-71 with a sealed bearing and a 6-hole disc mount, whilst the rear hub is a Formula EHL-148S, also featuring a sealed bearing and a 6-hole disc mount, as well as a 10-speed Shimano freehub.

The saddle is a Bontrager Boulevard, mounted on a telescopic Bontrager aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 34.9 mm. A bespoke Fetch Custom kickstand ensures the bike stands securely. Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Line Cargo motor with Smart System and a magnesium motor housing, delivering a torque of 85 Nm. The battery is a Bosch PowerTube with a capacity of 500 Wh, also part of the Smart System. The display is a Bosch BSP3200 SmartPhone Grip, and the charger is a standard Bosch charger with a current of 4 A and a voltage of 230 V.

The packaging dimensions are 23 mm wide, 119 mm high and 201 mm long. Further technical details include a reach of 34 mm, a stack of 65 mm, a seat tube length of 40 mm, a top tube length of 55 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle also of 70 degrees, a head tube length of 27 mm, a chainstay length of 75 mm, a drop height of 44 mm and a wheelbase of 136 mm.
