The frame of the Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 is made from Alpha Gold aluminium, which is renowned for its lightness and robustness. The internal cable routing ensures a clean, tidy appearance and protects the cables from external damage. The frame is also fitted with eyelets for a luggage rack and mudguards, which enhances the bike’s versatility. A post-mount disc brake mount and a kickstand mount with a 135 x 5 mm quick-release axle complete the frame design. The maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 11 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, fitted to both the front and rear. The MT201 brake levers and UR300 brake calipers ensure reliable braking power, and the Shimano RT26 brake discs, with a 6-hole mounting pattern and a diameter of 160 mm, guarantee safe deceleration.

The wheelset consists of Bontrager Kovee hollow-section rims, which are tubeless-ready and have an internal width of 23 mm. The hubs are by Formula: at the front, the DC-20 aluminium hub with a 6-hole disc mount and a 5 x 100 mm quick-release axle; and at the rear, the DC-22 aluminium hub with a 6-hole disc mount and a freehub body for Shimano 8/9/10-speed cassettes.

The saddle is a Bontrager H1, mounted on a Bontrager aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm, a 12 mm offset and a length of 330 mm.
