Trek Domane SLR 6

The 2021 "Domane SLR 6" model from Trek is a high-quality road bike designed for discerning riders. The price for this model is 6,699 EUR. The frame is made from 700 Series OCLV Carbon and is fitted with front IsoSpeed and adjustable rear IsoSpeed. The frame also features an integrated storage compartment, a tapered head tube, internal cable routing, a 3S chain guide and is DuoTrap S-compatible. Mudguard eyelets and a flat-mount disc brake mount are also included, and the thru-axle measures 142 x 12 mm. The maximum load capacity is 125 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 8 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes, with Shimano RT800 and Centre Lock disc mounts measuring 160 mm in diameter at both the front and rear. The shift levers are also Shimano Ultegra R8020 and offer 11 speeds. The front derailleur is a Shimano Ultegra R8000 in a brazed-on version. The Domane SLR’s fork is made of carbon and features a tapered carbon steerer tube with internal brake cable routing and mudguard mounts. Here too, flat-mount disc brake mounts and carbon dropouts are used; the front thru-axle measures 12 x 100 mm.

The crankset is a Shimano Ultegra R8000 with a 50/34 (compact) gear ratio and a crank arm length of 170 mm. The bottom bracket is a threaded Praxis T47. The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra HG800 with a 11–34 ratio and 11 speeds. The drivetrain is completed by a Shimano Ultegra HG701 chain.

The handlebars are Bontrager Pro IsoCore VR-CF made from OCLV carbon, with a width of 40 cm, a reach of 93 mm and a drop of 123 mm. The internal Di2 cable routing ensures a clean, tidy look. The stem is a Bontrager Pro with a diameter of 31.8 mm, Blendr-compatible, and an angle of 7 degrees with a length of 80 mm.

The tyres are Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite, Tubeless Ready with an aramid bead core and a size of 700 x 32C. The wheelset consists of Bontrager Aeolus Pro 3V, OCLV Carbon, Tubeless Ready with an internal width of 25 mm and thru-axles of 100 x 12 mm at the front and 142 x 12 mm at the rear. The freehub is compatible with Shimano 11/12-speed systems.

The saddle is a Bontrager Verse Elite with austenitic struts and a width of 155 mm. The seatpost is an internal carbon seatpost from Bontrager with an integrated rear light mount and a 20 mm offset in the short version.

The packaging dimensions are 23 mm wide, 88 mm high and 139 mm long. The bike’s reach is 37 mm and the stack is 55 mm. The seat tube length is 45 mm and the top tube length is 52 mm. The head tube angle is 71 degrees and the seat tube angle is 75 degrees. The head tube length is 13 mm, whilst the chainstay length is 42 mm.
