Trek Domane+ LT Gen 2

The 2022 Domane+ LT Gen 2 from Trek is a state-of-the-art e-bike that stands out for its advanced technology and high-quality components. Priced at 6,099 EUR, it offers excellent performance and comfort to both ambitious cyclists and leisure riders. The frame is made from 500 Series OCLV Carbon and incorporates a Fazua Evation drive system. This provides smooth assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The bike weighs a total of 14 kg and is fitted with a rear IsoSpeed system, which reduces vibrations and ensures a comfortable ride.

The Shimano Ultegra R8070 hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear ensure reliable braking performance in all conditions. The brakes are fitted with Shimano MT800 and EM810 rotors, both featuring a Centre Lock mount and a diameter of 160 mm. The gear system consists of Shimano Ultegra R8020 11-speed shifters, a Shimano Ultegra R8000 front derailleur and a Shimano Ultegra HG800 cassette (11–34). The Domane+ LT Gen 2’s fork is made from carbon and features a tapered carbon steerer tube as well as internal brake cable routing. The FSA crankset is made of aluminium and is specifically designed for the Fazua system, with 50/34 chainrings and a crank arm length of 170 mm. The handlebars are Bontrager Elite IsoZone VR-SF aluminium bars with a width of 40 cm, whilst the stem is a Bontrager Pro with a length of 90 mm and a 7-degree angle.

The wheelset consists of DT Swiss G1800 tubeless-compatible wheels, featuring a 100 x 12 mm thru-axle at the front and a 148 x 12 mm thru-axle at the rear. The tyres are Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite, Tubeless Ready, sized 700 x 32C. The saddle is a Bontrager Verse Elite with austenitic struts and a width of 155 mm, mounted on a Bontrager seatpost with an integrated rear light mount.

The Fazua Evation Drive Pack offers a battery capacity of 252 Wh and comes with a matching charger. The display for controlling the drive system is also from Fazua Evation. The frame geometry comprises a reach of 37 mm, a stack of 56 mm, a seat tube length of 48 mm, a top tube length of 53 mm, and head tube and seat tube angles of 71 and 74 degrees respectively. The wheelbase is 100 mm, the chainstay length is 42 mm and the standover height is 74 mm.
