Trek Allant+ 9.9S Stagger

The 2022 "Allant+ 9.9S Stagger" model from Trek is a state-of-the-art e-bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 6,999 EUR, it offers a wide range of high-quality components and technical refinements.

The frame of the Allant+ 9.9S Stagger is made from OCLV carbon and is fitted with a Removable Integrated Battery. The frame is also compatible with Range Boost, which extends the e-bike’s range when required. The maximum permissible weight is 136 kg, ensuring solid load-bearing capacity.

The braking system comprises Magura hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes at both the front and rear, each fitted with a brake light switch. The brakes are specifically designed for speed pedelecs and feature a 6-hole disc mount with a diameter of 180 mm.

The gear system is provided by the Shimano XT M8100 shift lever and the Shimano SLX M7100 drivetrain, both 12-speed. The e-bike’s fork is made of carbon and contributes to the bike’s lightness and stability.

Optimal visibility is ensured by the Supernova M99 Pure+ front light with 1,100 lumens and an integrated daytime running light. The pedals are either Bontrager City pedals or Wellgo C157s with a boron axle and plastic body.

The crankset is made of aluminium and has a crank arm length of 170 mm. The cassette is a Shimano SLX M7100 with a 10–45 range, also 12-speed. The handlebars are Bontrager Pro Lowriser carbon handlebars with a width of 690 mm and a rise of 15 mm. The grips are Bontrager Satellite Elite with aluminium clamps, and the stem is made from forged aluminium with integrated cable routing.

The tyres on the Allant+ 9.9S Stagger are Bontrager E6 in size 27.5 x 2.40, fitted to Alex MD35 rims, which are tubeless-compatible. The hubs are Shimano XT models, with a 15 mm thru-axle at the front and a 12 mm thru-axle at the rear.

The saddle is a Bontrager Commuter Comp, mounted on an aluminium seatpost measuring 31.6 mm in diameter and 330 mm in length. Aluminium mudguards and a Pletscher Comp Flex 18 kickstand are also integrated.

The luggage rack is made of aluminium and blends seamlessly into the bike’s design. Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Speed motor with a torque of 85 Nm and a maximum speed of 45 km/h. The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is charged using a standard Bosch 4A charger. The display is a Bosch Kiox with anti-theft protection.

The frame geometry offers a reach of 40 mm, a stack height of 59 mm, a seat tube length of 45 mm and a top tube length of 58 mm. The head tube angle is 69 degrees, whilst the seat tube angle is 73 degrees. The head tube has a length of 13 mm, the chainstay length is 47 mm and the standover height is 70 mm. The wheelbase measures 112 mm in total.
