Trek Allant+ 9.9S

The 2022 Trek Allant+ 9.9S is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its advanced features and well-thought-out design. The frame is made from OCLV Carbon and features a Removable Integrated Battery that is compatible with Range Boost. With a maximum authorised weight of 136 kg and a kerb weight of 22 kg, the Allant+ 9.9S offers a robust yet lightweight construction.

The bike is fitted with Magura MT5E and MT5N hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes, fitted to both the front and rear, and equipped with brake light switches. The brakes are part of the Magura Speed Pedelec system and have a 6-hole disc mount with a diameter of 180 mm. The gear lever is a Shimano XT M8100 with 12 speeds, which guarantees precise and reliable gear-changing performance.

The bike’s fork is also made of carbon, which helps to reduce weight whilst ensuring stability. The front light is a Supernova M99 Pure+ with 1,100 lumens and a daytime running light, ensuring optimum visibility. The pedals are either Bontrager City pedals or Wellgo C157s with a boron axle and plastic body.

The tyres are Bontrager E6 in size 27.5 x 2.40, fitted to Alex MD35 rims, which are tubeless-compatible. The hubs are Shimano XT; the front hub has a 15 mm thru-axle and the rear hub a 12 mm thru-axle.

The saddle is a Bontrager Commuter Comp, fitted to an aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm, a 12 mm offset and a length of 400 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a bolt-on clamp with a diameter of 36.4 mm. The bike also features aluminium mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex 18 kickstand and an integrated aluminium rear rack.

The Allant+ 9.9S is powered by a Bosch Performance Speed motor with 85 Nm of torque and assistance up to 45 km/h. The battery is a Bosch PowerTube with a capacity of 625 Wh, which is charged using a standard 4A Bosch charger. The display is a Bosch Kiox with anti-theft protection.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 42 mm, a stack of 66 mm, a seat tube length of 60 mm, a top tube length of 62 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle of 73 degrees, a head tube length of 20 mm, a chainstay length of 47 mm, a standover height of 86 mm and a wheelbase of 114 mm.
