Trek Allant+ 5

The "Allant+ 5" model from the "Trek" brand, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-bike available for €3,699. It features a high-performance hydroformed alloy frame with internal cable routing and an external battery mount. The maximum permissible weight is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano RT10 and EM300 disc brakes at the front and rear, respectively, with Centre Lock mounts and a diameter of 180 mm. The gears are operated by a Shimano Altus M2010 shifter with 9 speeds. The SR Suntour NVX30 fork, with its coil spring and adjustable spring preload, offers 60 mm of travel.

Lighting is provided by a Spanninga SOLO front light, which is specially designed for e-bikes, and a Herrmans MR4 LED light with 120 lumens. The pedals are non-slip and fitted with reflectors. The crankset is made of aluminium by ProWheel with a crank arm length of 175 mm, combined with a Shimano HG200 cassette (11–36 t, 9-speed) and a KMC E9S chain.

The handlebars are aluminium low-risers with a width of 690 mm, a rise of 25 mm and a bend of 11 degrees. The ergonomic grips are from Herrmans Clik and feature a clamp. The stem is a Bontrager Comp, compatible with Blendr, with a 7-degree angle and a length of 90 mm.

The tyres are Bontrager E6 Hard-Case Lite, measuring 27.5" x 2.40" and featuring reflective strips. The wheels consist of Bontrager Connection hollow-wall rims with an internal width of 20 mm and Shimano TX505 hubs with CentreLock disc mounts. The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo Moderate Ergo, mounted on a Bontrager aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and 12 mm offset.

Additional features include SKS plastic mudguards at the front and rear, a Pletscher Comp Flex 18 kickstand and a MIK-compatible aluminium rear rack with a maximum load capacity of 25 kg. Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor, which assists up to a speed of 25 km/h, controlled via the Bosch Intuvia 100 display of the Smart System. The battery has a capacity of 725 Wh and is charged using a Bosch standard charger (4 A, 230 V).

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 39 mm, a stack of 65 mm, a seat tube length of 50 mm, a top tube length of 59 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees. The head tube length is 20 mm, the chainstay length is 48 mm, the standover height is 83 mm and the wheelbase measures 113 mm in total.
