Stevens Tour Nexus 27.5"

The “Tour Nexus 27.5” model from the “Stevens” brand, released in 2020, is a versatile and attractively priced bicycle designed for everyday use and touring. Priced at 599 EUR, it offers good value for money.

The frame is made from robust 6061 aluminium, which gives the bike good stability with a maximum load capacity of 130 kg. The bike weighs 14 kg, making it a relatively lightweight model in its class.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro STB-01 V-brakes in combination with a coaster brake. The brake levers are Tektro TS325A. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus SG-C3001-7C with 1x7 speeds, operated via the Shimano Nexus 7 SL-C3000 gear lever. These components offer reliable and low-maintenance gear-changing performance.

The fork is a CrMo unicrown, which provides additional stability. The lighting comprises an Axa Compactline 20 front light with 20 lux and a Blueline Steady rear light, both powered by a Shimano DH-3000-3N-NT dynamo. This ensures reliable and long-lasting lighting without the need for batteries.

The bike is fitted with MTB Flatpedal Reflex pedals, which provide a secure grip. The bottom bracket is a 68 mm BSA, and the crankset is made of Oxygen aluminium with 38 teeth. The chainring has 19 teeth and is also from Shimano.

The handlebars are Oxygen Pistol with a width of 620 mm, and the stem is made of aluminium by Oxygen. The headset is a STEVENS 1 1/8" threaded model, which enables precise steering. The rims are Oxygen COMP A19, 19 x 584, and the tyres are Schwalbe Road Cruiser Active-Line, size 44-584, which provide good grip and comfort.

The hubs are Shimano Nexus, ensuring durable and reliable performance. The saddle is an Oxygen Raceline, which, together with the Oxygen Pistol seatpost, ensures comfort. The bike is also fitted with SKS mudguards, which protect against dirt and water. A sturdy kickstand and a STEVENS luggage rack round off the features, making the bike a practical companion for everyday use and on tours.
