Stevens Tour 27.5"

The “Tour 27.5” model from the “Stevens” brand, released in 2020, is a versatile bicycle characterised by its robust construction and well-thought-out features. Priced at 599 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, which not only ensures stability but also reduces the bike’s total weight to 14 kg. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, leaving plenty of scope for both rider and luggage.

The bike is fitted with Tektro STB-01 brakes and Tektro CL 530-RS brake levers, which ensure reliable braking performance. The drivetrain consists of the Shimano Altus RD-M310 (2x8) and Shimano Altus SL-M315-8 shifters, complemented by the Shimano Altus FD-M315-TS front derailleur. These components ensure precise and smooth gear changes.

The bike’s fork is a CrMo Unicrown, which provides additional stability. Visibility on the road is ensured by the Axa Compactline 20 front light (20 lux) and the Blueline Steady rear light, both powered by a Shimano DH-C3000-3N-NT dynamo. The pedals are MTB Flatpedal Reflex, which provide a secure grip.

The bottom bracket is a 68 mm BSA, and the crankset is an Oxygen Aluminium Forged with 36-22 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200-8 with 8-speed gearing. The handlebars are Oxygen Pistol with a width of 620 mm, and the stem is made of STEVENS aluminium. The headset is a STEVENS 1 1/8" threaded model.

The rims are Oxygen COMP A19, 19 x 584, and the tyres are Schwalbe Road Cruiser Active-Line in size 44-584. The hubs are a combination of Shimano Nexus and Oxygen aluminium. The saddle is an Oxygen Raceline, mounted on an Oxygen Pistol seatpost. Additional features include SKS mudguards, a kickstand and a STEVENS luggage rack, which make the bike a practical companion for everyday use.
