Stevens Strada 1000

The 2024 Strada 1000 model from Stevens is a high-quality bicycle that stands out for its well-thought-out features and solid build quality. The frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, which gives the bike excellent stability whilst keeping its weight down to just 9 kg. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, enabling a robust construction and versatile use.

The Strada 1000’s braking system is fitted with Shimano BL-RS600 brake levers and Shimano BR-RS405 disc brakes at the front and rear. The brake discs each have a diameter of 160 mm – the Shimano SM-RT54 model at the front and the Shimano SM-RT70 at the rear – ensuring reliable braking performance under a wide range of conditions.

The bottom bracket is a Pressfit BB86, whilst the crankset is from the Shimano CUES U8000 range and features 46-32 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-LG700-11 with 11-speed gearing.

The handlebars and stem are both from the Oxygen Scorpo series, with the handlebars measuring 600 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS Race Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2", which ensures stable steering. The wheelset consists of DT Swiss E 1800 Spline components, or alternatively Golden Grey P 1800 Spline, which are renowned for their reliability and smooth running.

The tyres are Continental Grand Prix Urban in size 35-622, fitted to both the front and rear, providing excellent traction and comfort on urban roads. The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo Ergo Sport, which, in combination with the Oxygen Scorpo seatpost, ensures a high level of riding comfort.
