Stevens Randonneur Disc Gent

The “Randonneur Disc Gent” model from Stevens, released in 2020, is a versatile and robust bicycle, available at a price of 1299 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, which gives the bike a high level of stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 13 kg.

The braking system features Shimano BR-MT400 hydraulic disc brakes, complemented by Shimano BL-MT401 brake levers. This combination ensures reliable and precise braking performance in a variety of conditions. The drivetrain is fitted with the Shimano Deore XT Trekking Shadow RD-T8000-SGS and offers a 3x10-speed setup, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M6000 shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano Deore Trekking FD-T6000-H3L, which enables smooth and efficient gear changes.

The Randonneur Disc Gent’s fork is a STEVENS S-Lite aluminium fork, which provides additional stability and comfort. For lighting, the bike is fitted with a B+M Eyc T Senso+ front light with 50 lux and a Shine Evo rear light, both powered by a Shutter Precision PL-8 dynamo. This ensures reliable lighting in all riding conditions.

The bike features ATB Alu Pro Reflex pedals and a BSA 68 mm bottom bracket. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-T551 with a 48-36-26-tooth configuration, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500 with a 10-speed setup. The handlebars are Oxygen Scorpo with a width of 640 mm, and the stem is also an Oxygen Scorpo. The headset is a STEVENS AH 1 1/8".

The rims are Oxygen PRO-D A19, measuring 19 x 622, and the tyres are Continental Contact Light, measuring 42-622. The hubs consist of a Shutter Precision PL-8 at the front and an FH-M4050 at the rear. The saddle is a Selle Royal Freccia Gent, mounted on an Oxygen Scorpo seatpost.

Additional features of the Randonneur Disc Gent include SKS mudguards, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime Shine Evo RTA luggage rack, making the bike an ideal companion for long tours and everyday use.
