Stevens P18

The Stevens “P18” model from 2020 is a high-quality bicycle which, at a price of 3,799 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The frame is made from 7005 TB aluminium, ensuring a robust and durable construction. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 15 kg.

For the brakes, Stevens has opted for the tried-and-tested Shimano Deore XT BR-M8000, which, in combination with the Shimano Deore XT Trekking BL-T8000 brake levers, ensures reliable and powerful braking performance. The drivetrain is a 1x18 Pinion P1.18 system, operated via a Pinion 18-speed twist shifter, ensuring precise and smooth gear changes.

The SR Suntour NCX-E RL Air fork, with 63 mm of travel, offers comfort and control, particularly on uneven roads and paths. For lighting, the bike is fitted with a B+M IQ-X T front light with 100 lux and a Shine Evo rear light, both powered by a Shutter Precision PL-8X dynamo.

The bottom bracket and crankset are also from Pinion, with the crankset fitted with a Gates CDX sprocket with 32 teeth. The sprocket consists of a Gates CDX Centre Track sprocket with 28 teeth, and the drive is via a Gates CDX Centre Track Carbon Drive Belt, which is renowned for its durability and low maintenance.

The handlebars and stem are Oxygen Scorpo models, with the handlebars measuring 640 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS AH Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2". The rims are Oxygen SL-D A21, measuring 21 x 622, and the tyres are Schwalbe Marathon, size 40-622, which are renowned for their puncture resistance and durability.

The front hub is a Shutter Precision PL-8X and the rear hub is a Pinion H2. R hub. The saddle is a Selle Royal Viper, mounted on an Oxygen Scorpo seatpost. SKS mudguards, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime Shine Evo IMM luggage rack provide additional comfort and functionality.
