Stevens Jazz Gent

The ‘Jazz Gent’ model from Stevens, released in 2023, is a versatile trekking bike characterised by its robust yet lightweight construction. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, resulting in a total weight of 16 kg. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making the bike suitable for heavier riders and additional luggage.

Reliable braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-T275 brakes at both the front and rear, combined with Shimano SM-RT30 brake discs with a diameter of 160 mm. The gear system consists of a Shimano Alivio Trekking RD-T4000-SGS with 24 speeds, operated via Shimano SL-M315 shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano Altus FD-M310-M3, which enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The SR Suntour NEX HLO fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain. For lighting, the bike is fitted with a B+M Upp front light and an AXA Juno rear light, both powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo. The pedals are City Reflex pedals, which provide extra safety when cycling on the road.

The bottom bracket is a BSA 68 mm and the crankset consists of a Shimano FC-TY501 with chainrings of 48-38-28 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200-8 with 8-speed gearing. The handlebars are Oxygen Driver, 630 mm wide, and the stem is an Oxygen Scorpo. The headset is a STEVENS MTB 1 1/8".

The rims are Oxygen RM-19, 19 x 622, both front and rear, and the tyres are Schwalbe Citizen Active-Line, 47-622. The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 and the rear hub a Formula CL-52. The saddle is a Selle Royal Wave Gent, mounted on an Oxygen Driver seatpost.

In addition, the “Jazz Gent” features SKS mudguards, a STEVENS kickstand and a Racktime luggage rack, making the bike an ideal companion for everyday use and longer rides. The price for this model is 999 EUR.
