Stevens Jazz Gent

The "Jazz Gent" model from the "Stevens" brand, launched in 2020, is a versatile and robust bicycle designed for both everyday use and longer rides. The frame is made from high-quality 6061 aluminium, giving the bike a sturdy yet lightweight structure. With a total weight of 16 kg and a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, the bike is suitable for both everyday use and transporting heavier loads.

The “Jazz Gent” is fitted with Tektro HD-T275 disc brakes, which, together with the Tektro HD-T275 brake levers, provide reliable and precise braking performance. The bike is fitted with a Shimano Alivio Trekking RD-T4000-SGS 3x8 groupset, controlled by Shimano SL-M315 shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano Altus FD-M310-M3, which guarantees smooth gear changes. The SR Suntour NEX HLO fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven terrain.

Lighting is provided by a B+M Upp front light with 30 lux and a Toplight 2C+ rear light, both powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 hub dynamo. This ensures reliable lighting even in the dark. The City Reflex pedals and the BSA 68 mm bottom bracket contribute to the bike’s overall ergonomics and efficiency. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-M311 with 48-38-28 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG31, 8-speed.

The handlebars are Oxygen Driver, 630 mm wide, combined with an Oxygen Driver stem and a STEVENS AH 1 1/8" headset, which enables comfortable and controlled steering. The rims are Oxygen COMP D-A19, 19 x 622, and the tyres are Schwalbe Citizen Active-Line, 42-622, which ensure good road holding and puncture resistance. The hubs are Shimano DH-3D37 at the front and FH-TX505 at the rear.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Wave Gent, mounted on an Oxygen aluminium seatpost, which together ensure a high level of seating comfort. The bike is also fitted with SKS mudguards, which protect against dirt and spray. A sturdy kickstand and a Racktime luggage rack round off the spec, making the ‘Jazz Gent’ a practical everyday companion.
