Stevens Galant Lite Gent

The ‘Galant Lite Gent’ model from Stevens, released in 2023, is a versatile and robust bicycle that stands out for its high-quality features and solid build. The frame is made from 6061 DB aluminium, which gives the bike high stability whilst keeping its weight down to a moderate 15 kg. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making it a reliable choice for a wide range of uses.

The Galant Lite Gent’s braking system is built entirely around Shimano components. Shimano BR-MT200 brakes are fitted at both the front and rear, operated by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear (Shimano SM-RT30), ensuring excellent braking performance.

Lighting is provided by the B+M IQ Avy T Senso+ front light and the B+M Toplight 2C+ rear light, which are powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo. This ensures reliable and long-lasting lighting even on longer rides.

The bike is fitted with City Reflex pedals and features a BSA 68 mm bottom bracket. The handlebars and stem are both from Oxygen Driver and measure 660 mm in width. The STEVENS AH 1 1/8" headset ensures precise steering.

The rims are Oxygen RM-26 Disc models (26 x 622), combined with Schwalbe Citizen Active-Line tyres (47-622), which are fitted to both the front and rear. The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 and the rear a Formula CL-52, ensuring a smooth ride.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola Gent, mounted on an Oxygen Driver seatpost, which provides additional comfort. Mudguards from SKS and a Racktime luggage rack make the bike suitable for everyday use and practical for carrying luggage. A Pletscher Comp kickstand ensures the bike can be parked securely.
