Stevens Furious 27.5"

The “Furious 27.5” model from the “Stevens” brand, released in 2024, is a versatile and robust bicycle that is suitable for both everyday use and more demanding rides. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, which gives the bike a light weight of 15 kg whilst maintaining high stability. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, providing ample scope for the rider and additional luggage.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear. The front brake disc has a diameter of 180 mm (Tektro TR180-35), whilst the rear brake disc measures 160 mm (TR160-35). This ensures reliable and safe braking in a variety of conditions.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Altus RD-M310 derailleur, offering a total of 16 gears. The Shimano SL-M315 and Shimano SL-M315-8R shift levers enable precise gear changes, whilst the Shimano Altus FD-M315-TS front derailleur ensures smooth shifting performance. The crankset is made from Oxygen Aluminium Forged with 36-22 teeth, and the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG31 with 8 speeds.

The SR Suntour XCE28 suspension fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. For added safety on the road, the bike is fitted with an AXA Dynamo 30 front light and an AXA Nyx Dynamo rear light, powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo.

The Furious 27.5" is also fitted with Oxygen RM-M19 rims (19 x 584) and Schwalbe Smart Sam Active-Line tyres (54-584), which ensure good grip and stability. The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 and the rear hub is a Formula CL-52, which contribute to the bike’s overall stability.

The handlebars (Oxygen Scorpo 640 mm) and stem (Oxygen Driver) provide a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. The saddle (Oxygen Havoc) and seatpost (Oxygen Driver) are also designed for comfort. Other practical features include STEVENS clip-on mudguards, a chain guard and a sturdy STEVENS kickstand.
