Stevens Furious 24"

The "Furious 24"" model from Stevens, released in 2023, is a robust and versatile bicycle available at a price of 679 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, which gives the bike a good balance between stability and weight. With a maximum load capacity of 65 kg and a kerb weight of just 14 kg, it is particularly suitable for young riders.

The Furious 24"" is fitted with Tektro HD-J285 brake levers and Tektro HD-J285 front and rear disc brakes. The brake discs are by Shimano, measuring 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The gear system consists of a Shimano Altus RD-M310 with 16 speeds, controlled by Shimano SL-M315 shift levers. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Altus FD-M315-TS, which enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The SR Suntour XCT JR fork, with 50 mm of travel, offers additional comfort and control on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Trelock I Veo 20 front light and the Trelock Duo Top rear light, powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo. This ensures reliable visibility in all lighting conditions.

The bike is fitted with ATB Pro Reflex pedals and a BSA 73 mm bottom bracket. The handlebars are Oxygen Scorpo, 640 mm wide, combined with an Oxygen Driver stem and a STEVENS MTB 1 1/8" headset.

The rims are Oxygen RM-M19, both front and rear, and the tyres are Schwalbe Landcruiser Plus Active-Line in size 50-507, which ensure good traction and durability. The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TX505-8. The saddle is an Oxygen Raceline, mounted on an Oxygen Driver seatpost.

In addition, the Furious 24"" is fitted with STEVENS clip-on mudguards, a chain guard and a STEVENS kickstand, which enhance the bike’s practicality and suitability for everyday use. Overall, the Furious 24"" from Stevens offers a well-thought-out specification tailored to the needs of young riders.
