Stevens Esprit Gent

The "Esprit Gent" model from the "Stevens" brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality trekking bike available at a price of 1,599 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT410) at the front and rear, operated via Shimano BL-MT402-3A brake levers. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and the rear ones 160 mm (SM-RT54).

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Deore XT Trekking Shadow RD-T8000-SGS rear derailleur, which enables precise and reliable gear changes. This is complemented by the Shimano Deore SL-M6000 shifter and the Shimano Deore Trekking FD-T6000-L3L front derailleur.

The SR Suntour NCX-D Air LO fork provides comfortable suspension and contributes to a pleasant ride quality. Lighting is provided by the B+M IQ Myc T Senso+ front light and the B+M Shine Evo rear light, which are powered by a Shutter Precision PL-8 dynamo.

The bike is fitted with ATB Alu Pro Reflex pedals and a BSA 73 mm bottom bracket. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-T551 with 48-36-26 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500 with 10-speed gearing.

The handlebars (Oxygen Scorpo 640 mm) and stem (Oxygen Scorpo) provide ergonomic and stable handling. The headset is a STEVENS AH Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2". The rims are Oxygen RM-X19 Disc (19 x 622) and the tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Racer (40-622), which are known for their smooth rolling characteristics and puncture protection.

The front hub is a Shutter Precision PL-8 and the rear hub is a Shimano Deore XT FH-M8000. The Selle Royal Nuvola Gent saddle and the Oxygen Scorpo seatpost ensure comfort even on longer rides.

In addition, the bike is fitted with SKS mudguards, a chain guard, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime Shine Evo RTA luggage rack, making it an ideal companion for daily commutes and longer tours.
