Stevens E-Molveno Forma Velvet Black

The 2021 “E-Molveno Forma Velvet Black” model from Stevens is a versatile e-bike, available at a price of 1999 EUR. The frame is made from robust 6061 aluminium and the maximum load capacity is 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 22 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers, ensure reliable deceleration. The bike is fitted with a Shimano Altus RD-M2000-SGS 9-speed rear derailleur, operated via the Shimano Altus SL-M2010-9R shifter, providing a total of 9 gears.

The SR Suntour NCX-D LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, offers additional comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the AXA Compactline 35 front light with an output of 35 lux, whilst a Blueline rear light is fitted at the rear. The City Reflex pedals and the chain guard contribute to safety and suitability for everyday use.

The bottom bracket is from Bosch and is combined with the Oxygen E-Scorpo crankset featuring a 44-tooth chainring. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG201, also 9-speed. The handlebars and seatpost are of the Oxygen E-Scorpo type, with the handlebars measuring 630 mm in width and the stem – an Oxygen Versa II – being adjustable. The headset is a STEVENS AH 1 1/8".

The rims are Oxygen PRO-D A19, 19 x 622, and the tyres are Schwalbe Marathon, 40-622, which ensure good road holding. The hubs are Shimano TX505. The saddle, a Selle Royal Nuvola Lady, offers a high level of comfort and is complemented by the Oxygen E-Scorpo seatpost. Mudguards from SKS, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a STEVENS luggage rack round off the specification.

The e-bike is powered by a Bosch G3 Active Line Cruise motor, which is powered by a Bosch PowerPack 400 battery. The display is a Bosch Purion, which makes it easy to use. The battery capacity is 400 Wh, providing sufficient power for longer rides.
