Stevens E-Courier PT5 Forma

The "E-Courier PT5 Forma" model from Stevens, launched in 2020, is a high-quality e-bike available at a price of 2,999 EUR. The frame is made from robust 6061 aluminium and the maximum load capacity is 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 25 kg.

Braking is provided by the reliable Shimano BR-MT200 system, complemented by the Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus SG-C6001-8D with a 1x8 gear ratio, controlled by the Shimano Alfine 8 SL-S503 gear lever. The SR Suntour NCX-D LO fork offers 63 mm of travel and contributes to a comfortable ride.

The lighting comprises the B+M IQ Avy T Senso+ front light with 40 lux and the Shine Evo rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The City Reflex pedals, along with the Bosch bottom bracket and the Oxygen E-Scorpo crankset with 44 teeth, round off the specification. The rear sprocket has 19 teeth and the handlebars are Oxygen E-Scorpo with a width of 630 mm, combined with an adjustable Oxygen Versa stem.

The headset is a STEVENS AH Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2", and the Oxygen PRO-D A19 rims (19 x 622) are fitted with Schwalbe Marathon tyres (47-622). The hubs are from Shimano Deore and Nexus. The Selle Royal Nuvola Lady saddle and the Oxygen E-Scorpo seatpost provide additional comfort. Mudguards from SKS, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and the Racktime Shine Evo RTA luggage rack are also included.

At the heart of the E-Courier PT5 Forma is the Bosch G3 Active Line Plus Cruise motor, powered by a Bosch PowerTube 500 battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the drive system. All in all, the Stevens E-Courier PT5 Forma is a well-designed and reliable choice for everyday use.
