Stevens E-8X Tour Gent

The 2020 Stevens E-8X Tour Gent is a high-quality e-bike designed for demanding tours and everyday use. Priced at 3599 EUR, this model offers a wide range of top-class components and technical features that guarantee both comfort and performance.

The frame of the E-8X Tour Gent is made from 6061 TB aluminium and is robust enough to support a maximum load of 140 kg. The bike’s kerb weight is 22 kg, which is quite reasonable for an e-bike in this class.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano Deore XT BR-M8000 brakes in combination with the Shimano Deore XT Trekking BL-T8000 brake levers. This combination ensures reliable and precise braking under a variety of conditions. The gear system consists of the Shimano Deore XT Shadow+ RD-M8100-SGS, a 1x12 drivetrain which, together with the Shimano Deore XT SL-M8100-RA shift lever, enables precise and smooth gear changes.

Suspension is provided by the SR Suntour Mobie25-Air LOR fork with 63 mm of travel, which ensures additional comfort on uneven terrain. For optimum visibility even in low-light conditions, the bike is fitted with a B+M Lumotec IQ-X 150 Lux front light and a Shine Evo rear light.

The bottom bracket is from Bosch and works in conjunction with the Oxygen E-Scorpo crankset, which is fitted with a 38-tooth sprocket. The cassette is a Shimano SLX CS-M7100, 12-speed. The handlebars and stem are also from Oxygen E-Scorpo and offer a width of 660 mm for a comfortable riding position.

Other features include the STEVENS AH Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2" headset, Oxygen PRO-D A19 rims with Continental Double Fighter III tyres (50-622), and Shimano SLX hubs. The saddle is an Oxygen Havoc model, mounted on an Oxygen E-Scorpo seatpost.

The E-8X Tour Gent also features SKS mudguards, a STEVENS Edge kickstand and a Racktime Shine Evo RTA luggage rack, making it a practical companion for everyday use. Power is provided by the Bosch G4 Performance Line CX Cruise motor, which, in combination with the Bosch PowerPack 500 battery and the Bosch Kiox display, offers a capacity of 500 Wh.
