Stevens E-4X Tour LT

The "E-4X Tour LT" model from Stevens, released in 2024, is a versatile electric bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality features. The frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, which gives the bike excellent stability whilst keeping the weight down to 21 kg. The maximum permissible weight is 140 kg, ensuring a high load-bearing capacity.

The braking system features Tektro HD-T280 brakes at the front and rear, paired with 180 mm Tektro TR180-35A brake discs, which ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. The gear system consists of the Shimano CUES U4000 Shadow RD-U4000-GS with 9 speeds, controlled via the Shimano CUES U4000 SL-U4000-9R shifter, which enables precise and smooth gear changes.

Suspension is provided by an SR Suntour Mobie25 LOR fork with 63 mm of travel, which effectively absorbs bumps in the road. Lighting is provided by the Trelock Light Hammer 80 front light and the AXA Juno rear light, which ensure good visibility in low-light conditions.

The bottom bracket and crankset are from Bosch and Oxygen E-Scorpo respectively, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-LG300-9. The handlebars and stem are also from Oxygen E-Scorpo and offer a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. The headset is a STEVENS AH Taper 1 1/8"–1 1/2", which contributes to stability and steering precision.

The rims are Oxygen RM-26 Disc, measuring 26 x 622, fitted with Continental Double Fighter III tyres (50-622), which offer good traction on both tarmac and light off-road terrain. The front hub is a Strummer RTP-1 and the rear a Formula CL-52, which contribute to the bike’s durability and reliability.

The saddle is an Oxygen Lynx, mounted on an Oxygen E-Scorpo seatpost, which ensures comfort even on longer rides. The bike is also fitted with SKS mudguards, a chain guard, a STEVENS Edge kickstand and a Racktime E-14 RTA luggage rack, making it a practical everyday companion.

The E-4X Tour LT is powered by a Bosch G3 Active Line Plus motor with a Bosch PowerPack 400 battery, which offers a capacity of 400 Wh. The Bosch Purion 200 display allows for simple and intuitive control of the motor and shows all key ride data. The price for this model is 3199 EUR, which represents good value for money given the bike’s high-quality features and performance.
