Stevens Courier Lite Gent

The “Courier Lite Gent” model from Stevens, released in 2022, is a versatile and well-equipped bicycle that is ideal for urban use. Priced at 1,199 EUR, it offers a solid combination of performance and comfort.

The bike’s frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction. The fork, also made from aluminium, is called the STEVENS S-Lite and complements the frame perfectly. Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) at both the front and rear, which, in conjunction with the Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers, ensure reliable deceleration. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and the rear ones 160 mm (SM-RT30).

The gear system is a Shimano Nexus SG-C6001-8D, operated by the Shimano Alfine 8 SL-S503 gear lever. This combination enables precise and easy gear changes. The crankset is a Shimano Alfine FC-S501 with 42 teeth, whilst the Shimano sprocket has 20 teeth. The bottom bracket has BSA 68 mm dimensions.

Lighting is provided by a B+M IQ Myc T Senso+ front light and a B+M Toplight 2C+ rear light, both of which are powered by the Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo. This ensures consistent and reliable lighting on every ride.

The handlebars and stem are both from Oxygen Driver, with the handlebars measuring 660 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS AH 1 1/8". The rims are Oxygen RM-X19 Disc, measuring 19 x 622 at both the front and rear, and the tyres are Continental Contact Urban in size 47-622.

The pedals are City Reflex models, which ensure a secure grip. The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola Gent, mounted on an Oxygen Driver seatpost. For added comfort and protection, SKS mudguards are fitted, and a chain guard ensures that clothing stays clean.

Furthermore, the bike is fitted with a Pletscher Comp kickstand, which ensures it stands securely. The Racktime luggage rack offers ample space for carrying luggage or shopping.
