Stevens Corvara Gent

The “Corvara Gent” model from Stevens, launched in 2020, is a versatile and robust city bike that stands out for its solid construction and well-thought-out features. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, which gives the bike a high degree of stability and durability. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 16 kg, this model is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.

The bike is fitted with Tektro STB-01 V-brakes and a coaster brake, which, in combination with the Tektro CL 330-RS brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus SG-C3001-7C with 7 speeds, operated via the Shimano Nexus 7 SL-C3000 gear lever. This allows for easy and precise gear selection.

The SR Suntour CR7-V fork, with 40 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven roads. For road safety, the bike is fitted with an Axa Compactline 20 front light (20 lux) and a Blueline rear light, both powered by a Shimano DH-C3000-3N-NT dynamo.

The Corvara Gent features City Reflex pedals and a BSA 68 mm bottom bracket. The crankset is made of Oxygen aluminium with 38 teeth, whilst the Shimano cassette has 20 teeth. The handlebars are Oxygen Pistol with a width of 630 mm, combined with an adjustable Oxygen Versa stem and a STEVENS Threaded 1 1/8" headset.

The rims are Oxygen COMP A19 (19 x 622), and the tyres are Schwalbe Citizen Active-Line (42-622), which ensure good road holding and puncture resistance. The hubs are also from Shimano Nexus. The Selle Royal Wave Gent saddle and the Oxygen aluminium seatpost offer comfort even on longer rides.
