Stevens Corvara Forma

The “Corvara Forma” model from Stevens, released in 2020, is a versatile and robust bicycle designed for everyday use in the city. Priced at 659 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, which gives the bike a high level of stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 16 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro STB-01 V-brakes combined with a coaster brake. The brake levers are Tektro CL 330-RS, ensuring reliable and easy operation. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus SG-C3001-7C with 7 speeds, operated via the Shimano Nexus 7 SL-C3000 gear lever. This enables precise and effortless gear selection.

The SR Suntour CR7-V fork, with 40 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven roads. For lighting, the bike is fitted with an Axa Compactline 20 front light (20 lux) and a Blueline rear light. Power is generated by a Shimano DH-C3000-3N-NT dynamo, which provides a reliable and independent power source.

Other features include City Reflex pedals, a BSA 68 mm bottom bracket and an Oxygen aluminium crankset with 38 teeth. The rear sprocket is by Shimano and has 20 teeth. The handlebars are 610 mm wide Oxygen aluminium handlebars, which, together with the adjustable Oxygen Versa stem, ensure a comfortable riding position. The STEVENS Threaded 1 1/8" headset ensures stable steering.

The rims are Oxygen COMP A19, 19 x 622, and the tyres are Schwalbe Citizen Active-Line in size 42-622, which ensure good road holding. The hubs are also Shimano Nexus, which contributes to the bike’s overall reliability. The saddle is a Selle Royal Wave Lady, mounted on an Oxygen aluminium seatpost, which provides additional comfort.
