Stevens Avantgarde LT

The "Avantgarde LT" model from Stevens, launched in 2024, is a high-quality and versatile bicycle designed for discerning cyclists. The frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure. With a total weight of 14 kg and a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, the Avantgarde LT offers an ideal balance between stability and lightness.

The bike’s braking system is fully equipped with the Shimano CUES U8000 series. Both the brake levers and the front and rear brakes are from this series, ensuring reliable and powerful braking performance. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring effective deceleration in a variety of riding situations.

The Shimano CUES U8000 series is also used for the gear system. The Avantgarde LT features a 22-speed drivetrain with the Shadow+ RD-U8020-SGS rear derailleur and SL-U8000 shift levers. The front derailleur is the FD-U8010-LL3, which enables precise and rapid gear changes. The crankset consists of a Shimano CUES U8000 with 46-32 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-LG700-11, 11-speed.

Suspension is provided by the SR Suntour NCX-E Air LO fork with 63 mm of travel, which ensures added comfort on uneven terrain. The lighting is also well thought out: The front light is a B+M IQ-XS Friendly T and the rear light a B+M Shine Evo, both powered by a Shimano DH-UR708-3D dynamo.

The bike is fitted with ATB Alu Pro Reflex pedals and features a BSA 68 mm bottom bracket. The handlebars and stem are both from the Oxygen Scorpo range, with the handlebars measuring 630 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS AH Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2".

The rims are Oxygen RM-26 Disc SL, 26 x 622, on both the front and rear, and are fitted with Continental Contact Urban tyres (47-622). The front hub is a Shimano DH-UR708-3D and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-UR600. The saddle is a Selle Royal Explora Female, mounted on an Oxygen Scorpo seatpost.

SKS mudguards, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime Shine Evo RTA luggage rack provide additional comfort and functionality. The Stevens Avantgarde LT is available at a price of 2199 EUR and offers a comprehensive range of features, making it an ideal companion for a wide variety of rides.
