Stevens Albis Gent

The 2020 "Albis Gent" model from Stevens offers good value for money and is available for 599 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, resulting in a total weight of 16 kg and a maximum load capacity of 130 kg.

The brakes are Tektro STB-01, which provide reliable stopping power. The derailleur is a Shimano Acera RD-M360-SGS with a 3x8-speed configuration, complemented by the Shimano Altus FD-M310-M3 front derailleur. The SR Suntour CR8-V fork, with 50 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride.

For lighting, the Albis Gent is fitted with an Axa Compactline 20 front light (20 lux) and a Blueline rear light. Power is generated by a Shimano DH-C3000-3N-NT dynamo. The pedals are City Reflex models, which provide a secure grip.

The bottom bracket is a 68 mm BSA, and the crankset consists of a Shimano FC-TY501 with 48-38-28-tooth chainrings. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200 with 8 speeds. The Oxygen aluminium handlebars are 630 mm wide and the stem, also by Oxygen, is adjustable. The headset is a STEVENS Threaded 1 1/8".

The rims are Oxygen COMP A19, 19 x 622, fitted with Schwalbe Citizen Active-Line tyres in size 42-622. The hubs are by Shimano: the DH-C3000-3N-NT dynamo hub at the front and the FH-TX500 at the rear.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Wave Gent, mounted on an Oxygen aluminium seatpost. SKS mudguards are fitted to protect against splashes. A kickstand and a Racktime luggage rack complete the package, making the Stevens Albis Gent a versatile and practical bike for everyday use.
