Stevens 6X Tour Gent

The “6X Tour Gent” model from Stevens, released in 2020, is a versatile trekking bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components and available at a price of 1099 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 DB aluminium, ensuring a sturdy yet lightweight construction. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 14 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers, enable reliable and controlled deceleration. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore Trekking Shadow RD-T6000-SGS with 3x10 speeds, which is precisely shifted using the Shimano Deore SL-M6000 shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano Deore Trekking FD-T6000-H3L, which ensures smooth gear changes.

The SR Suntour NCX-D LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, offers comfort and shock absorption on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by a B+M IQ Avy T Senso+ at the front with 40 lux and a Line Tec Small rear light, both powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo. The pedals are ATB Alu Comp Reflex, which ensure a secure grip.

The bottom bracket is a BSA 68 mm, and the crankset consists of a Shimano Deore Trekking FC-T6010 with 48-36-26 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500 with 10-speed gearing. The handlebars and stem are both Oxygen Driver models, with the handlebars measuring 640 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS AH 1 1/8".

The rims are Oxygen PRO-D A19 in size 19 x 622, and the tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround Performance in size 35-622, which provide good traction and riding comfort. The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 and the rear hub is an FH-M3050. The saddle is an Oxygen Havoc, mounted on an Oxygen Driver seatpost.

Additional features include SKS mudguards, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime Light-it luggage rack, which make the bike a practical everyday companion.
