Stevens 6X LT

The 2024 Stevens 6X LT model is a versatile and robust bicycle that stands out for its high-quality components and solid build quality. Priced at 1049 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, which gives the bike high stability whilst keeping its weight down to just 12 kg. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, providing ample headroom for both rider and luggage.

For the braking system, Stevens relies on tried-and-tested components from Shimano. Shimano BR-MT410 brakes are fitted at both the front and rear, operated by Shimano BL-MT402-3A brake levers. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear (Shimano SM-RT54), ensuring reliable braking performance.

The Stevens 6X LT’s gear system is also by Shimano and comprises a total of 20 gears. It features the Shimano CUES U6000 Shadow RD-U6020-10 SGS rear derailleur, combined with the Shimano CUES U6000 SL-U6000-L and SL-U6000-10R shift levers. The front derailleur is also a Shimano CUES U6000 FD-U6010-LL3, and the crankset consists of a Shimano CUES U6000 with 46-30 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-LG300-10 with 10-speed gearing.

The SR Suntour NRX-D LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on a wide variety of terrain. The pedals are ATB Pro Reflex, which provide good grip and safety. The bottom bracket is a 73 mm BSA, contributing to a stable and durable bottom bracket solution.

The handlebars and stem are from Oxygen Driver, with the handlebars measuring 640 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS AH 1 1/8", which ensures precise steering. The rims are Oxygen COMP-D A19, both front and rear in size 19 x 622. The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance, size 42-622, which are known for their good grip and durability.

The hubs are by Formula: the CL-25 model at the front and the CL-26 at the rear. The saddle is a comfortable Oxygen Lynx, mounted on an Oxygen Driver seatpost, which ensures a comfortable riding position.
