Scott Sub Comfort 20 USX

The 2021 "Sub Comfort 20 USX" model from Scott offers a balanced combination of comfort, functionality and reliability at a price of 699 EUR. The frame is constructed using Sub Comfort 6061 TIG welding, which gives the bike a stable and durable foundation. Weighing 19 kg, it is one of the more robust models in its class.

Safety and control are ensured by the Promax TX123 brakes in combination with the Shimano ST-EF41 brake levers. The bike is fitted with a Shimano RD-TX800-SGS 7-speed derailleur, complemented by the Shimano ST-EF41 shift lever and the Shimano FD-TY510 front derailleur. In total, the rider has 21 gears at their disposal, allowing for flexible adaptation to various riding conditions.

The Suntour M3010 fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides additional comfort by effectively absorbing bumps in the road. The lighting comprises an Axa Compactline 35 front light and an Axa rear light, which ensure good visibility in low-light conditions.

The bike is fitted with Syncros SP-827 pedals and a VP-BC73C bottom bracket. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-TY301 C Black with 48x38x28T chainrings, whilst the rear cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200-7 12-28T Black. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC Z51 chain.

Rider comfort is ensured by HL NR-AL-16 handlebars with a width of 610 mm and an adjustable Syncros UC3.0 stem. The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza, supported by a Syncros UC3.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm.

The rims are Cross X14 with 32 spokes, manufactured by Pillar Steel 14G. The tyres are Schwalbe Road Cruiser 700x47c, which offer good performance on both tarmac and light off-road terrain. The front hub is a Shimano DH-C3000 dynamo with 32 spokes, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TY500, also with 32 spokes.
